Salary Range: *120-150k for these roles* (probationary for 2-3 months and then after salary review it can be increased internally).

Create Her Future Initiative (CHFI) is a women-centered nonprofit organization committed to empowering women and girls through education, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership development, community building and economic empowerment initiatives.


Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee CHFI's financial operations and ensure strong financial accountability across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, financial planning, expense monitoring, reporting, compliance and financial controls.

This role is critical to ensuring that organizational resources are managed responsibly and efficiently to maximize impact.

We are looking for someone who not only understands finance but also believes in the mission of empowering women and girls.


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

- Develop and manage organizational budgets.
- Monitor income, expenses and cash flow.
- Ensure proper allocation and utilization of funds.
- Maintain accurate financial records.


Financial Reporting:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Provide financial updates and insights to leadership.
- Track project and program budgets.


Financial Controls & Compliance:

- Establish and maintain financial control systems.
- Monitor spending to prevent financial leakages and inefficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Support audits and financial reviews.


Strategic Financial Planning:

- Support fundraising and grant budgeting.
- Provide financial forecasts and recommendations.
- Assist leadership with financial decision-making.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, or financial management.
- Experience working with nonprofits is an advantage.
