Responsibilities
- Visit customers’ residential and business locations to follow up on overdue loans.
- Negotiate realistic repayment plans and debt settlements.
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly recovery targets.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts through phone calls, text messages and emails.
- Maintain accurate records of field visits, customer interactions and recoveries.
- Conduct address verification and field investigations when required.
- Comply with regulatory guidelines, credit policies and ethical debt collection practices.
Requirements
- OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in debt collection, field recovery, loan marketing or customer service.
- Experience in a microfinance bank or fintech lending company is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of local routes, commercial centres and communities within the assigned location
