Business Name Registration

For sole traders and partnerships trading under a name other than their own.

A registered business name lets you open a business bank account, issue invoices in your trading name and show customers you are established. We check name availability, prepare and file your application on the CAC portal, and follow up until your certificate is issued.

  • Valid means of ID for each proprietor (NIN slip, international passport, driver’s licence or voter’s card)

A separate legal entity with shareholders and directors, suited to growing businesses.

Incorporating a company separates your personal assets from the business and is often required for government and corporate contracts. We guide you through share structure and directors, prepare the incorporation documents and file with CAC.

Incorporated Trustees

Registration for NGOs, foundations, religious bodies, clubs and associations.

Registering as Incorporated Trustees gives your organisation legal recognition so it can own property, open accounts and enter agreements in its own name. The process includes a public notice in newspapers, which we arrange.

Annual Returns Filing

Keep your business name or company in good standing with CAC.

Every registered business must file annual returns. Late filing attracts penalties and can lead to your business being struck off. We prepare and file returns, including any outstanding years.

No. We are an independent service that helps you prepare and file registrations with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). Registration decisions and certificates are issued by CAC.
Can you guarantee my business name will be approved?
No one can guarantee that. CAC decides whether a name is available. We check availability before filing and ask for more than one proposed name to reduce delays.
