Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the delivery of furniture and other company products to customers.
- * Plan delivery schedules and ensure orders are delivered according to agreed timelines.
- * Safely drive company vehicles for deliveries and other official assignments.
- * Confirm that the correct products, quantities, and items are loaded before leaving for delivery.
- * Ensure furniture and other products are properly secured and protected during transportation.
- * Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and arrival times.
- * Assist with loading and unloading furniture when required.
- * Coordinate with the production team to ensure completed orders are ready for delivery.
- * Inspect the vehicle regularly and report maintenance issues or faults to management.
- * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, completed orders, and returned items.
- * Ensure customers receive their orders in good condition and report any delivery issues immediately.
- * Plan efficient routes and manage daily delivery movements effectively.
- * Handle company vehicles, products, documents, and equipment responsibly.
- * Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and represent the company properly during deliveries.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s licence.
- * Must be an experienced and confident driver.
- * Previous experience driving for a company, delivery business, logistics company, or similar organization is an added advantage.
- * Must have good knowledge of Abuja roads and surrounding areas.
- * Must be physically fit and able to assist with loading and unloading furniture.
- * Must own and be able to use a smartphone for navigation, communication, and delivery updates.
- * Must have good communication and customer service skills.
- * Must speak and understand English.
- * Must be responsible, punctual, honest, and trustworthy.
- * Must be able to plan routes and manage multiple deliveries effectively.
- * Must be willing to work outside the showroom when carrying out deliveries and other official assignments.
- * Must be able to work with little supervision and take proper care of company vehicles and property.
