BlueFixx is seeking detail-oriented Verification Officers to help confirm the identity, trade competence and work history of blue-collar professionals before they are onboarded onto the platform.
The role involves document authentication, guarantor and community-based reference checks, site visits and coordination of practical trade tests, primarily across Lagos and Abuja.
Responsibilities
- Verify the identity and personal information of blue-collar professionals.
- Authenticate submitted documents and relevant credentials.
- Conduct guarantor and community-based reference checks.
- Carry out field visits and site verification where required.
- Verify applicants’ work history and trade competence.
- Coordinate practical trade tests for prospective platform professionals.
- Document verification findings accurately and maintain proper records.
- Support the onboarding process by providing reliable verification reports.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Human Resources, background screening, recruitment or field investigation.
- Minimum HND or BSc in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Sociology, Public Administration, Criminology, Social Work or a related discipline.
- A background or coursework in Industrial or Vocational Education is an advantage, given the technical trade focus of the role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in information and documentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with applicants, guarantors, communities and other stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to conduct field visits across the assigned location.
