Sosai Renewable Energies Company Ltd is a Kaduna-based solar energy company, founded in 2010. We develop solar mini-grids,
meshgrids, clean cooking solutions and agricultural energy services for communities, businesses and institutions across Northern
Nigeria, working with leading development finance partners. We are growing our commercial team to reach more customers with
the sales of solar lanterns, solar home systems, commercial and Industrial solar solutions.
The Role
The Sales Manager will lead Sosai's sales strategy and team, to sell our products to households, businesses and industries to grow
the revenue of the organization across Nigeria.

Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver annual and quarterly sales plans and revenue targets.
- Lead, coach and monitor the sales team and community sales agents.
- Win business from enterprises, farmers, agro-processors, health facilities, schools and local institutions.
- Build relationships with customers, community leaders, partners and distributors.
- Prepare quotations and proposals, and negotiate contracts with the technical and finance teams.
- Track pipeline, sales and collections, and report weekly and monthly to the General Manager.
- Gather market intelligence on customers, competitors and pricing to guide expansion.
- Ensure sales activity follows Sosai's Code of Conduct, safeguarding, health and safety and data protection policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field (MBA or professional sales qualification is an
- advantage),
- At least 5 years' sales experience, including 2 years managing a team, ideally in renewable energy, power, agribusiness,
- FMCG or
- development programmes.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills in English; Hausa is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to travel to rural communities across Nigeria.
- Good use of CRM tools, Excel and mobile data collection.
- Integrity, and ability to pass Sosai's pre-employment vetting and background checks.
