Responsibilities
- Key Responsibilities
- 1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gross margin targets.
- Develop new business opportunities and acquire new customers.
- Prospect dealers, distributors, workshops, fleet operators, retailers, and corporate customers.
- Conduct customer visits and develop territory plans.
- Follow up on leads, opportunities, quotations, and orders.
- Drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- 2. Spare Parts Sales
- Sell genuine/OEM/approved aftermarket spare parts and service products.
- Understand vehicle applications, part numbers, specifications, and compatibility.
- Identify the correct parts by make, model, year, engine, and application.
- Build and maintain relationships with dealers, auto shops, workshops, mechanics, fleet operators, and vehicle owners.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving parts and provide market feedback.
- 3. Lubricants Sales
- Sell engine oils, transmission fluids, gear oils, hydraulic oils, greases, coolants, brake fluids, and related products.
- Understand OEM and vehicle specifications and recommend appropriate products.
- Develop customers across workshops, filling/service stations, dealers/distributors, fleets, industrial customers, and retailers.
- 4. Dealer & Distributor Development
- Identify, onboard, and develop dealers, distributors, retailers, workshops, and other channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the distribution network.
- Expand the distribution network and improve market coverage.
- Provide product information, materials, promotions, and market intelligence.
- Support discussions around pricing, discounts, and credit.
- 5. Market Intelligence & Competitor Monitoring
- Monitor competitor pricing, availability, promotions, and brands.
- Track customer buying behaviour and market trends.
- Identify counterfeit, substandard, and competing products in the market.
- Provide relevant market feedback.
- 8. Sales Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
- Track visits, leads, opportunities, quotations, and orders.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts.
Requirements
- Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in automotive spare parts, lubricants, aftermarket, automotive sales, or related B2B/B2C sales.
- Experience with dealers, workshops, distributors, fleets, retail, or auto service businesses is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in territory or channel sales is an advantage.
