Responsibilities
- The Debt Management Officer will be responsible for managing
- and recovering overdue debts, maintaining positive relationships
- with clients, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate
- repayment plans with defaulting clients
- Maintain accurate records of all collection
- activities, debts, and communication with clients
- Conduct field visits to clients for recovery
- and assessment
- Prepare monthly reports on recovery activities
- Manage invoicing, Trade receivables and
- Accounts payables on zoho CRM
- Attend to customer enquiries on WhatsApp,
- call and SMS
- Handle customer recharges on payee, Angaza,
- lumiter and calling recharge platforms.
- Handle Bank Deposit for Cash Transactions.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Accounting, Business Administration,
- Economics, Finance or related field
- 2-3 years proven experience in Debt Recovery,
- Loan Collection, or Credit Control
- Excellent negotiation, communication and
- interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, firmness, and ability to
- work under pressure
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
